Yes I would.I want to be in awe and new tech isn't cheap,I don't want the next gen the years I'll have it for to be held back.show me what you got!it would feel like we skipped a gen.i won't even think about a ps4 if I felt nothing came close.the ps3 600 shocked people went they knew xbox was the place to be. Better looking games,better online play and still people payed for the ps3 because they wanted to be in awe.ms just back up the price with the tech,we don't want to feel let down but we are here xbox player I believe we showed we are loyal.build it and they will come keep the dream alive. Ps I know alittle cheesy but true xbox player are the sh?t

I was looking foward for black ops 2 but its going to be on the xbox 720 that should not even be invented 360's are fine and original, no gamer is going to want to purchase this console because they have spent hundreds on the 360 and on there games and no one is going to want to spend 400-600$ on 720 there is probably going to be a 1080 for all we know and then what a 1440???? Even though the 720 looks freaking bad ass, Stick to the damn xbox 360 microsoft.

AND to add to your point, microsoft is so greedy that they think that when we buy a used game from gamestop that it's considered some form of "stealing". bull effing shiz. If we buy a used game from gamestop they get all the money and the game developers get none. So gamestop gets to keep all the money from used game sales and the game developers lose out on their games being sold and not getting even a dime for it unless it's bought brand new. I've read that the ps4 and 720 wont play used games just to spite gametop and get them out of business or at least control what happens to used games money wise if the systems workout

it will be better if you make it from 400-500 but not more for everybody because thats alot of money thats what i call a no lifer! something that people can buy . now i know if you cut the price alot thats not good for the microsoft sell price but we all know that if you raise the price to much how are people going to buy it you see we work to pay bills , gas, water, cars, they cant even raise or pay you more how are people going to pay for that. yea i know there's better education in the united states. oh and im only 17 you know alot of gamers are between 12-20 that play every day i payed for the last two systems xbox 360 and the new one with the kinect with my own money. how are they going to afford that and sorry for my bad writing have a good day

A $1000 is alot of money to spend, but if the features are great, and the product is very convient, then the cost may be worth it. I just dont see anyone, but the ones who really have the money for it, go spend a 1000 on a fuckin game system. LOL, well anyways, I guess I will have to wait until the price shrink..thats the only way I'm buying this game. GO XBOX! If MicroSoft would spend less money on design and style etc. and concentrated more on what`s inside the console. some real kickass hardware, so it would kick ps4, even 5`n 6 also, or any other console out of orbit.

Excuse my French but why the fuc would anybody pay $1000 dollars for a video game? Why would you price the game at such an outrageous amount not including the price of games? Will the games for this system be $500, $300, $200, $100.....???? This is crazy!!! I think that it is to high after all the issues I had with 360 version. I have spent more on replacing consoles then games. Also I agree membership should be free if u have to buy maps and other things just think ill wait if the price is to high

Hell No!!!!!! I wouldnt pay anything near $1000! It cost less than $100 to make. Who the hell could pay for that and what happens if it breaks. If I bought the Xbox 720 and it broke I would be pissed. It better have life time warranty!

Next gen atleast set a new standard for all desktop systems of the computer world new xbox or ps3 should have 4-5ghz /and or overclocked 8core (ivy bridge or new amd) processors 4gigs of graphics mem 8+ gigs of ram at 1600mhz and the list goes on if you guys want to make a breakthrough in the console world and leave the pc gamers in awe you better make something that will blow every gamers mind away but still for a reasonable price Im guessing me and all other gamers would like the price to be under $500 sorry if im asking too much. NO! I would never pay that much money for a gaming machine,only if it had an AMD graphics system what i think the 720 will turn out being. Is just another accessory for the Xbox360 or the kinect becuase look at all these new games coming out Halo 4 Rainbow Six and those will release throughout the years of 2012 and 2013 i can see microsoft starting over on something and not making this but thats just my opinion.

if this game system lasts 50 years then1000 would be reasonable, but the fact is that in 6 years Sony is gonna try to have another system and Microsoft is going to try to beat them at it so 6 years, 1000$, might as well just save up for the next one.
